The Inaugural Function of the AICFB West Zone Chess Championship for the Visually Challenged 2023 was successfully concluded at the Shri. Shantadurga Kunkallikarin Devasthan, Goa. The event will be held from 3rd to 6th August 2023 and received overwhelming support from various dignitaries and chess enthusiasts.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Shri. Chandrakant (Babu) Kavlekar, the Ex. Deputy Chief Minister of Goa. Alongside him, several other prominent personalities attended the function, including Mr. Manish Thool (Secretary of AICFB), Kishor Bandekar (Organizing Chairman), Mr. Sanjay Kavlekar (Organizing Secretary), Mr. Swapnil Shah (Treasurer of AICFB), Jt. Secretary of GCA Mr. Kishor Dessai, President of Unique Chess Academy Mr. Amrut Naik, Secretary of QTCA Mr. Sameer Naik, Sarpunch Fatorpa Mr. Mahesh Faldessai, and Panch Sheetal Naik.
