AICFB EAST ZONE SELECTION CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP

We are happy to inform you that you have been invited to participate in the AICFB East Zone Selection Chess Championship for the Visually Challenged 2022, which will be held at Malda, West Bengal from 22nd March to 24th March, 2022. This Championship is being jointly organized by All India Chess Federation for the Blind (AICFB) and Malda District Administration along with Spark Trust.

 

Venue: Malda Club & Youba Abas, English Bazar, Malda, West Bengal – 732142

 

Please note that registration is mandatory to all participant on AICFB ChessMitra Portal. All Players must register your name on https://chessmitra.aicfb.in/ 

 

Lodging & Boarding will be provided from 21st March (Evening) to 25th March (Morning), 2022.

 

All players to show 2nd Dose Vaccination Certificate at the time of reporting. Non-Vaccinated players should carry a copy of their RTPCR COVID-19 negative test report conducted 72 hours prior to their date of competition. Wearing Face masks will be mandatory at all times and strictly follow all COVID-19 guidelines to protect yourself and other plyers.

 

Escorts are not allowed without prior approval. Escorts accompanying players without approval have to pay Rs 2,500 as charges for their lodging and boarding or alternately make their own arrangements.

 

The Final function will be held on 24th March, 2022 evening at 4 pm for which the attendance of all participants is compulsory.

 

Please also note that there is also a tournament with the sighted person on 25th March, 2022. Which will end in the evening of the same day. So the player who wants to play in this tournament can book his/her ticket accordingly.
